Monofilament thread
Monofilament thread is a single thread of very big length which does not split in longitudinal direction. In transverse direction the sizes of monofilament threads are 0.03 - 1.5 mm and more. Monofilament threads are produced uncoloured and coloured with various form of the cross section.
Polyamide threads are applied for production of stockings, fishing nets, paint brushes, toothbrushes, clothes and shoes brushes, technical brushes, zippers, fishing lines, transparent sewing threads, etc. Polyethylene terephthalate monofilament threads are used for production of conveyor belts, brushes for farm vehicles, grids for pulp-and-paper, oil, textile and other industries.
