Polyamide 610 Molding (PA 610 L)
This material represents synthetic polymer with excellent physical and chemical properties. Comparing this type of polyamide to others it is possible to mark out the following distinctive properties:
- – low coefficient of moisture absorption;
- – high insulating properties;
- – excellent dimensional stability of material;
- – low susceptibility to temperature deformations;
- – high antifriction properties;
- – high oil and benzine resistance.
Polyamide corresponds to the chemical formula ([-NH-(CH2)6-NH-CO-(CH2)8-CO-]n).
Molding polyamide 610 is intended for production of various products of constructional and insulating application by means of injection molding.
Products from molding polyamide PA 610 can be exploited without lowering of mechanical properties in the range of temperatures from minus 60 to plus 70 degrees Centigrade. These include the products of insulating application which are exploited on low and mid frequencies.
Glass-filled polyamide PA 610 has a number of improved properties. Its chemical resistance to many oils and alcohols and its resilience and elasticity at low temperatures allow to produce the most high-quality parts from this polyamide. Glass-filled polyamides are distinguished by increased durability and high impact resistance. Another characteristic of glass-filled polyamides is that they have good dielectric properties. Glass-filled polyamides are used for production of parts of precision instruments, cases of electric tools such as drills, casings of small-sized pumps, cam disks, bearing cages, needle roller bearings, load-bearing parts of transformers, etc.
Talc-filled polyamide PA 610 иhas the increased antifriction and insulating properties. Comparing to glass-filled polyamide talc-filled polyamide has higher impact resistance. That is explained by low adhesion of glass fiber. Talc-filled polyamide 610 has the increased dimensional stability.
Graphite-reinforced polyamide PA 610 has even higher antifriction properties.
